Refund Policy

• Before a live workshop starts: a full refund, for any reason.
• During a live workshop you attend: a full refund if, within the first 20 minutes, it isn't useful to you and you ask before the session ends.
• After a workshop ends: no refund, unless we cancel or reschedule it, or the law requires one.
• A private debrief that has already taken place: not refundable.
• Consulting and advisory work: governed by your signed agreement.

The detail is below. Where this page and a signed agreement differ, the signed agreement applies.

You can cancel a workshop seat and receive a full refund at any time before the session begins. No reason is needed.

If you attend a session live and decide within the first 20 minutes that it isn't useful to you, you can leave and request a full refund, provided we receive your request before the session ends. This guarantee requires attending live; it doesn't apply to watching the replay.

Once a session has ended, seats are not refundable. Replay access is part of your seat and isn't refunded separately.

Seat + Debrief and Leadership Team purchases include a private debrief scheduled after the workshop. The workshop refund terms above apply to the whole purchase until that debrief takes place.

Once your private debrief has been delivered, the purchase is no longer refundable, because that time has been reserved and spent on your organisation specifically.

An unused debrief can be scheduled within 60 days of the workshop. After that it expires, and the purchase stays non-refundable once the workshop has ended.

If we cancel a workshop, you'll receive a full refund. If we reschedule it, you can choose a full refund or a seat at the new date.

If a technical failure on our side prevents a session from running, we'll treat it as a cancellation.

The Guardrails newsletter, the AI readiness assessment and downloadable templates such as the one-page AI strategy are free. There's nothing to refund, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.

Consulting, advisory, private workshops and speaking engagements are delivered under a separate written agreement. Payment, cancellation and refund terms for that work are set out in that agreement, not on this page.

Email erick@ericktruong.com from the address you used to purchase, with the name and date of the workshop. For a request made during a live session, the time we receive your email is what counts.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. We process them within 5 business days; how long they then take to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.

If something has gone wrong, please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. We can usually resolve it faster, and a refund issued directly reaches you sooner than a dispute does.
